Anglo-Saxon. Continental Sceattas AR Sceatt. Circa 695-740. Series X; 'Wodan' head type.
Radiate facing 'Wodan' head between small crosses; all within line and beaded border / Crested monster flying to left, head to right, tail raised to mouth, claws below; all within beaded border within double line border. SCBI 69, 339 var. (pellet on reverse); SCBC 797. Very Fine.(1.04gr, 12mm, 3h.).
