Light coinage. Obv: profile bust right with +OFFA REX legend. Rev: small cross within circle and piles with + V D D legend separated by pellet rosettes for the moneyer Udd at Canterbury mint. 0.84 grams.
Very fine. Extremely rare; only three others recorded by Chick.

Found near Ely, Cambridgeshire, 2020; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no. 10627-172860.
