Anglo-Saxon Coins - Harold I (Harefoot) - Norwich / Man(na) - Jewel Cross Penny 1037-1038 AD

Sole reign, BMC type i. Obv: double-banded diademed profile bust left with +HAROLD REX legend. Rev: cross of four long ovals with double annulet and pellet centre and +MANNAONNORĐPIC legend for the moneyer Manna (sometimes listed as Man) at Norwich mint. As struck.(1.09 grams.).

Acquired UK market.
Property of a Hampshire gentleman.
This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.11101-183644.
