Anglo-Saxon Coins - Continental Issues - Series X - Wodan Bust AR Sceatta 695-740 A.D.
Obv: facing 'Wodan' head with long hair and beard; pellet-ended cross each side, within a pelleted border. Rev: dragon beast left with head looking back over shoulder to right, swallowing tail and with prominent pellet-tipped phallus, within a pelleted border. Extremely fine; near as struck.(1.09 grams.).
