796-821 AD, BMC type iii. Obv: Mercian M with contraction bar over and +COENVVL.F.R.EX legend with lozenge O and pellets set high. Rev: tribrach with DI OL A with lozenge O in angles for the moneyer Diola at London mint. Very fine. Rare.(1.33 grams.).
