Ancient Greek Coins - Seleucid - Antiochos II - AR Tetradrachm 261-246 B.C.
Seleukeia ad Tigrim mint. Obv: diademed head of Antiochos I right. Rev: BASILEWS ANTIOXOY legend with Apollo, naked but for drapery over his right thigh, seated left on omphalos, examining an arrow held in his right hand, left hand resting on bow; MAR monogram in outer left field, IHAR monogram in outer right field. Near very fine.(16.39 grams.).
