Plano-convex in profile with a lightly inscribed antique legend to domed face (including Arabic name and numeral '1298'); underside with reserved figure of a bird with wings spread.

These weapons belong to the Early Median and Achaemenid Period. The blades were often inserted inside an openwork scabbard, cast with the lost wax process, while the handle was instead cast onto the blade. -
