Akkadian Haematite Cylinder Seal with Presentation Scene
LATE 3RD-EARLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
7/8 in. (7.43 grams, 22.84 mm).
With incuse frieze depicting a standing robed figure with one leg and one arm extended, holding a sceptre towards a supplicant in ankle-length garment standing beside a frond; sun-disc above the bird's head; third standing figure in flounced garment and with both hands raised above an altar. [No Reserve]

From a Scottish private collection, Perthshire, 1990s.
Footnotes
About one third of the surface of the seal has been left blank; this was probably intended to be inscribed with a cuneiform text.
