Adult Actual Size Spinosaurus Dinosaur Skull Replica

71 x 37 1/2 x 10 in. (5 kg, 180 x 95 x 25cm deep).

A full scale museum-quality reproduction skull fibreglass plaque of the dinosaur Spinosaurs maroccanus, from the Cretaceous Period (late Aptian), Tegana Formation, Taouz, Morocco, inscribed in the mould on the back of the skull by the artist 'John Mack'; four brass mounts to verso for wall hanging.

Provenance

Property of an Essex, UK, gentleman.

Footnotes

The Spinosaurus was both a beachcomber type scavenger and an active hunter taking small stranded Plesiosaurs, Pterosaurs, turtles and large fish; adults weighed up to 21 tonnes and grew up to 18 meters long.
