A rectangular limestone relief fragment depicting a profile head facing left with full lips, heavy jawline and lentoid eyes, hatched ties to the rear, six rays terminating in elongated hands extending from the upper edge, the upper part of a frieze of lotus flowers beneath.

A blue glass figural inlay modelled in the half-round of a profile male bust with recessed detail to the brow, eye and ear, curved outline to the cheek; mounted on a custom-made stand.

A South Italian, Apulian jug with drum-shaped spout tapering to a thin neck with applied handle, neck painted with fluted and ovolo pattern; globular body painted with scene of Europa on the back of Zeus in the form of a bull, fish and dolphin to either side and rosettes in rest of field; large scrolling palmette to base of handle.

A two-part bronze bit formed as two linked round-section bars with loops to the outer ends, slot and flange.

An oblong panel fragment carved with Arabic Kufic script to the lower part with plants around the letters.

A silver parcel-gilt military belt suite comprising: three articulating rectangular panels, each with a beaded border and four attachment lugs to the reverse, central rectangular plaque with low-relief image: an ithyphallic faun (Pan) with stick and pan-pipes; a facing Bacchus (Dionysus) with thyrsus and raised horn, lion at his feet and wine jug; a dancing maenad with pipes and swirling drapery; each in a pointillé tendril and leaf frame; buckle loop formed as a pair of opposed gilt lion-heads on textured curved necks, the tongue formed as a rectangular block with geometric ornament, protruding tail and flanking curved legs terminating in gilt claws.

A wooden tabula with handwritten inked text to both faces, pierced to one long edge; to the outer face, written in large decorative lettering "Cod(ex) Testamenti ... Pompo¬ (nii) Speranti " (translation: 'Testamentary codex of Pomponius Sperantius'); to the inner face, a rectangular recess showing traces of a white background (tabula albata) the first eighteen lines of the text of the will, beginning "(1) Post co(n)ss(ulatum) Bas(s)i et Ablavi, pridie idus febr(u)arias. Pomponius Spe¬ (2) rantius subscribens et signaturus sana mente sana memoria testa¬ (3) mentum feci, idque scribendum Iulio Iuliano amico meo dictavi, relectum mihi (4) subscripsi, signavi et signari iussi quatenus lecto valetudinis iaceo " the whole text translating to English as "In the year after the consulate of Bassus and Ablavus, the day before the Ides of February (= Feb. 12th, AD 332). I, Pomponius Sperantius, who signs it and who will seal it, made my last will with clear mind and sane memory; and I dictated to write it down to my friend Iulius Iulianus, and after it was read aloud to me I signed and sealed it, and I ordered it to be signed [by the witnesses]. Insofar I lie down in the sickbed and if something happens suddenly to me, in this case, when I will be given back to the nature by my death, my beloved children Pomponia Iuliana and Feliciana shall be my heirs of all my goods on the land of the fundus Rascotianetis, insofar as they are my own acquired as paternal inheritance and by purchase, and you shall possess it, and in the fundus Goretianos even the houses. And in the same fundus Rascotianos, as it was divided between me and my brother Felicianus, your uncle, through borderlines (¬ ¬ ¬ ¬) and the movable smaller AECORA MAISORA and if you should find out something else (?) through the slave (boy) named Vindelius, then it should be divided in equal parts. All the others shall be disinherited. Whatever I will have given, I will have donated, I will have given as legacy and to whom I will have ordered that it shall be given, you are doomed (?) that it shall be given. It shall be also given PRESTERUMQUE. I give and I authorize my daughter Pomponia Donatilla, if she will marry within the family, land in the fundus Goretianos which I gained from Rogatianus BULEIGOTIS and the slave girl named Victoria, three identical dalmaticas [fine garments] with their mafortium (a kind of cape/wrap to cover head, neck and shoulders) with African (?) stripes (?), a house of bricks (?) with orario (?). I give and I authorize my daughter Tertia ..."

A large bronze mask of a tragic female heroine, with carefully modelled curled braids with onkos, large eyes and nose, opened mouth; three attachment holes to the back.

A ceramic figure of a leaping horse, the body decorated in red paint with spots to the mane and rump, mouth open to suggest exertion; female rider wearing long robe, the hair drawn into a high bun, hand raised, perhaps to hold attached reins.

A pair of shallow porcelain dishes with white ground, decorated in enamels in the 'Doucai' style showing a five-claw dragon chasing a sacred pearl internally with cloud scrolls to inner rim and swirling waves and cloud scrolls to underside; six-character mark and of the period seal in underglaze blue of emperor Yong-Zheng (Yung-cheng) to bases.

A dagger and sheath with suspension fittings; the bronze sheath with decorated bands, raised panels with repoussé and punched-point detailing, discoid chape with central knop, lateral loops with attached sliding rings attached to D-shaped strap ends; the iron blade within the sheath, iron tang extending from a tiered lower guard to the rectangular pommel with three poppy-head finials; possibly Villanovan workmanship.

A gilt-bronze hollow-formed drum-shaped brooch with central roundel; the outer sidewall with lattice hatching; the upper face with beaded border and tribrach, three S-shaped animals in Salin's Style III; catchplate to the reverse.

A mixed group of silver jewellery items comprising: a flat-section penannular finger ring with rounded ends, punched design of three scrolled arms; coiled finger ring of round-section rod with notch detailing; a bracelet with punched-point detailing to geometric motifs, ends coiled round the shank; a pectoral cross with naive Corpus Christi attached by loops to a substantial chain with 'ingot' finials.

A bronze mount of a standing male and a female couple, each with one hand extending across the body touching each other's genitals; hollow to the reverse.

A sheet silver vessel with domed plaque to the base, waisted profile, everted rim, band of Proto-Elamite text beneath the rim, text possibly a later addition.

A silver-gilt circular box with transluscent mauve enamel over turned 'fabric' background to the lid and sidewall; silver winged front catch to the lid with inset cabochon garnet and thirteen cut diamonds; egg-and-dart border to the base, ropework to the lid; silver Romanov Imperial eagle to the centre of the lid with inset cabochon amethyst and twenty cut diamonds; stamped to the underside 'ЯA' (for Karl Gustaf Hjalmar Armfeldt) and alpha with a profile bust and '88'; stamped to the underside of the lid with alpha with a profile bust, '88' and a separate profile bust marks; contained in the original purple silk and velvet lined, hinged box, slightly worn.

A D-section gold hoop with flared shoulders, plate with bifacial plaque insert: obverse with intaglio seal comprising a heater shield with double-tailed rampant lion, helmet with elaborate mantle, mural crown, crest of a double-tailed lion rampant; to the reverse, an earlier signet panel with hatched central panel and surrounding italic legend '*Beware sell with the [Je?]well'.

A posy ring with rectangular-section hoop in the form of a buckled belt with looped end tie and chape with double-bowed and pinned buckle, the outer face inscribed '+HOPE * IS * MI HOLDE' in Roman capitals and continuing 'TILL * HAP * SHALL * HELPE' on the internal surface.

A flat-section gold hoop with enamelled geometric ornament, flared bezel with scooped lower faces and enamel detailing, inset facetted peridot, Ottoman workmanship.

First reign, light coinage, Coventry mint. Obv: half figure of king in ship with sword and shield with rose on side of ship and 'C' in waves with +EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC DNS I B legend and no mintmark. Rev: rose over sun with crowned lions and fleurs within tressure with IHC AVT TRANSIENS PER MEDIVM ILLORVM I BAT legend with 'sun' mintmark; small X incised to field on both sides.
