The decoration of the vase evokes the 'fish scale style' from Harappa. Images of water creatures were often stylised. In the Harappan Period the fish scale motif was one of the major painted pattern of that culture.

With lentoid half-lidded eyes, wide nose, full, curved lips and richly elaborate gilt headdress; mounted on a custom-made stand. 385 grams total, 16.5 cm including stand

Similar bowls were found at Nal, appearing to be canister-like vessels with circular openings. As here, it is a buff ware with traces of blue and red patterns, and repeated geometrical design, here enriched with the image of a wild beast.

A framed and glazed print presenting a figural scene set within a walled garden, rain falls and bolts of lightning flash in the background beyond the wall, driving elephants to run for cover amongst the trees where they are predated on by tigers; within the garden, a lady and her attendants beneath a pavilion whilst she meets with her lover or suitor. 420 grams, 27 x 20.2 cm
