Saint Hubert was a 7th century French nobleman and keen hunter who had chased a stag with a crucifix in its antlers. The stag told him to adopt a religious life, and Hubert went on to become Bishop of Liège in Belgium in the early 8th century. His shrine was at Saint-Hubert-en-Ardenne in Belgium.

Featuring a flat-section hoop and an oval bezel bearing the letters 'AVEM' likely for 'Ave Maria' with a cross above. 4.34 grams, 22.52 mm overall, 19.03 mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.00, Japan 19)
