These representations in the style of figurines presumably represented household deities who were guardians of the home. In some cases figurines of this type were produced in groups of two or four.

This small collection is exceptional for the variety of types, including some very rare and well preserved examples.

These wafer-thin-walled pottery vessels exhibit fine workmanship and exhibit the talent of the Nabataean potters from the early Roman period.

The so-called 'Hittite hieroglyphs' encode texts in the Luwian language of Asia Minor. Hieroglyphic Luwian is a native script, also known as 'Anatolian hieroglyphs', which was used on official or royal seals and a few monumental inscriptions.
