A freestanding sheet-silver idol of a standing human figure, anatomical features in repoussé technique, applied pellet eyes and twisted wire embellishing the headdress, attached to a vertical rectangular plaque, standing on a second square plaque with notched edges, remains of an offering vessel(?) at the feet. 14.2 grams, 39 mm

Examined by Professor Wilfrid George Lambert FBA (1926-2011), historian, archaeologist, and specialist in Assyriology and Near Eastern archaeology, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This small collection is exceptional for the variety of types, including some very rare and well preserved examples. -
