Bell-shaped in profile with broad rim, nads of concentric rings and leaves to the outer face, tendrils and leaves on a pounced field to the inner face and spiral motif to the tondo. 754 grams, 22.2 cm wide

Modelled in a seated position, arms and legs outstretched before her nude body, stylised anatomical and facial features portraying a female figure with large head, dressed hair beneath a head covering, large nose and recessed circular eyes, broad ornamental collar above ample breasts, hour-glass waist, incised fingers and toes. 42 grams, 11.8 cm high

'David Gold amassed a sizable collection of Indus Valley pottery, both vessels and figurative during his retirement, a plaque to David and his brother was recently unveiled by Westminster Council above 43 Carnaby Street, commemorating their business that made Carnaby Street synonymous with fashion in the 1960s.'
