An elegantly composed designer necklace with turquoise, coral, glass and rock crystal beads, two vajra pendants above a rock crystal amulet with inlaid collars; central feature a tassel composed of bead drops suspended from an openwork metal dome. 238 grams, 62 cm

In the mid 15th century a freighting junk loaded with fine Vietnamese pottery sank in an area of the South China Sea called the 'Dragon’s Embrace.' This vessel is part of the shipwreck cargo recovered off the coast of Vietnam at Hoi An. The ceramics themselves were probably made in the area of Chu Dau.
Comprising a narrow hoop with ropework borders and raised foliate lozenge, hollow-formed bezel with scroll detailing, ellipsoid cell above with scalloped outer face, inset star ruby-coloured cabochon. 11.01 grams, 30.77 mm overall, 19.39 mm internal diameter (approximate size British N 1/2, USA 6 3/4, Europe 14.35, Japan 13)
