St. Symeon orans atop a large central column, flanked by two angels flying in to crown him with wreaths; reliquary(?) to left and small figure going to climb ladder on right / Palm print on convex surface. Fast quadriga driven left by charioteer, holding reins and kentron; in field above, Nike flying right to crown him; in exergue, display of military harness set on two steps / ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ, head of nymph Arethusa (Kore-Persephone) left, wearing barley-wreath, triple pendant earring and beaded necklace; around, four dolphins.
