Note from Sear, p. 206: The semissis and tremissis have the same legends and types as those of Constantine IV. No definite distinction can be made between them, but as a general rule those of Constans are better engraved and of neater production, whilst those of his son tend to be of cruder style, lower relief and inferior workmanship.
Constantinopolis mint. Dated RY 19 (AD 659/60). Constans II standing facing, in military attire, wearing long beard and plumet helmet, holding long cross with his right hand and placing his left on his hip; to left, [I] Θ, to right, [cross] and M / Constantine IV, Heraclius and Tiberius standing facing, each wearing crown and chlamys and holding globus cruciger in right hand. DOC 82g; MIB 175; SB 1011. 3.64gr, 22mm, 1h.
