Silver, Calcutta area? Obv: Durbar scene with two figures seated below canopy and two attendants. Rev: Rama and Lakshmana standing. Copper. Obv: figure leaping towards mountain with sun above and waves below. Rev: HALF / ANNA / 1808 in three lines within wreath with EAST INDIA COMPANY legend. 12.29, 11.91 grams.

Found Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, UK, by Ken Burrell whilst searching with a metal detector, since 2010.

Tokens were metal discs which feature designs and often inscriptions, and which were intended for use either as symbols of receipt or debt for either goods or services, as passes, or in small transactions in times of shortage of small denominations in the currency. They were currently used in the various sectors of State Administration, including the military one.
Group comprising: various lead issues including a large flan Boy Bishop 'Groat' depicting St. Nicholas, and a pierced large flan token with cross and pellets; various issues and types. 29.03 grams total.
