A very rare bronze openwork plate brooch with pin-lugs, pin and catchplate to the reverse; the plate an S-curved dragon executed in Urnes Style with latticework of tendrils enmeshing the body.
PROVENANCE:
Property of a German collector; acquired in the 1980s and 1990s.
