BYZANTINE SILVER RING GROUP
CIRCA 5TH-8TH CENTURY A.D.
3/4 - 7/8 in. (12 grams total, 20-24 mm).

A mixed group of silver rings with slender hoops, comprising four with discoid bezels and one sub-rectangular plaque; each with a unique incuse design: figure framed by wreath; bifurcated Christian cross; Latin cross; cross within roundel of crescents; an enigmatic design possibly comprising two crested helmets; one hoop split.
