Egyptian Seal with Hieroglyphs

New Kingdom, 1550-1070 BC

A rectangular ceramic stamp seal with pierced handle, intaglio 'cartouche' with crouching jackal, pair of ostrich feathers above; old collector's label giving provenance as 'Der el Medina, 18. Dyn'. 88 grams, 97mm (3 3/4"). Fine condition, repaired. [No Reserve]
