Sassanian Stamp Seal Group

3rd-7th century AD

A mixed group of three plano-convex stamp seals, each pierced for suspension, comprising: one haematite with intaglio bounding rabbit to base; one carnelian with stylised human figure standing next to a fire altar; one carnelian with winged griffin standing left. 12 grams total, 13-17mm (1/2 - 3/4"). Fine condition. [3]
