Sassanian and Later Stamp Seal Group

Mainly 3rd-7th century AD

A mixed group of three plano-convex stamp seals, each pierced for suspension, comprising: a carnelian seal with stylised figures; a jasper seal with quadruped crouching with tail erect; a haematite seal with wading bird. 11.9 grams total, 12-17mm (1/2 -3/4"). Fine condition. [3]
