Late Pliocene-early Pleistocene Period, 2.9-1.5 million years BP

A rare example of a sea-snail (whelk) shell formed with a left-hand bias, known as Neptunea contraria. 18.22 grams, 76mm (3"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]
