ANGLO-SCANDINAVIAN VIKING 'MUSEUM RECORDED' TREFOIL BROOCH
9TH-10TH CENTURY A.D.

A bronze trefoil brooch with frond detailing to each of the three radiating arms, bilinear frame and central triangular panel; remains of catch and pin-lug to the reverse; mounted on a custom-made stand. 1 3/8 in. (23.65 grams total, brooch: 34 mm).

PROVENANCE:
Found near Aylsham, Norwich, Norfolk, 1980s.
Accompanied by a copy of a Norfolk Museum Services record slip.
