LATE PRECLASSIC PERIOD, CIRCA 400-200 B.C.

A jadeite anthropomorphic figure with tapering triangular cross-section, simple delineation of anatomical features; drilled for suspension; accompanied by a custom-made display stand. [No Reserve]

Acquired on the European art market.
From the private collection of a French medical professional.
Accompanied by a copy of an illustrated expertise by Spencer S. Throckmorton III, dated 14 March 1992.
