Western Asiatic Mesopotamian Lapis Lazuli Bowl

2nd millennium BC

A miniature bowl carved from lapis lazuli with carinated profile and convex underside. 54 grams, 42mm (1 1/2"). Very fine condition.

Provenance
Acquired on the London art market, 1990s; previously in a collection formed in the 1970s-1980s.
