583-601 AD, Constantinople. Obv: D N MAVRC TIb PP AVI, cuirassed bust facing wearing plumed helmet, holding cross on globe. Rev: VICTORI-A AVGG and officina letter B, angel standing facing, holding long, P-headed cross and cross on globe; mintmark CONOB. Gold, 4.47 grams.
