LARGE MEDIEVAL BRONZE CEREMONIAL VESSEL
13TH-15TH CENTURY A.D.
9 1/2 in. (2.33 kg, 24 cm wide).

Substantial sheet-bronze hemispherical bowl with irregular rounded rim; applied triangular iron panel to each side with three large rivets.

PROVENANCE:
From an old European collection, formed mainly in the 1980s.
Ex European collection.
From the N.J. collection, Leicester, UK.
This lot is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D’Amato.
