Neolithic, 6th-3rd millennium BC

A group of patinated flint hand-axes each with narrow rounded tip, inked findspot information on two. 577 grams total, 12-17cm (4 3/4 - 6 3/4"). Fine condition. [3, No Reserve]

Provenance
From the private collection of Ronald G.P. Kerridge (d. 2013), Sussex historian, author, and archaeologist; found at Cissbury in the 1970s; most with inked find spot and date.
