CIRCA 15TH CENTURY AD
15 cm (Iron, 855 grams, 38 cm).

A rehafted iron axe head with elliptical socket, splayed blade with curved cutting edge and square-section hammer to the rear. [No Reserve]

PROVENANCE:
Private collection, Nottinghamshire, UK; acquired late 1980's-early 1990's; found Queenhythe Dock, 1980.
