15TH CENTURY AD
1" (8.9 grams, 24mm).

A silver chessman seal with heater shield and text to the border; the shield with three annulets in fess between fleurs-de-lys; the border with Lombardic legend '* SIGILLŪ·RICARDI·DE·LEIK' (possibly Leek, Staffordshire, England). [No Reserve]

Property of a lady; from the collection of Simon Bendall (Byzantine Numismatist, 1937-2019).
