English Medieval Coins - Henry VI - Calais - Annulet Groat

1422-1430 AD

Obv: facing bust within tressure with annulets by neck and HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGLIE legend. Rev: long cross and pellets with annulet in first and third quarters with POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEV and VILLA CALISIE legends for Calais mint. 3.63 grams. Near very fine.

Property of a Hertfordshire gentleman; acquired on the UK market.
