GREEK GOLD RING WITH HELIOS
5TH-3RD CENTURY BC
1" (25 grams, 28mm overall, 19.24mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9 1/4, Europe 20.38, Japan 19)).

A very large and heavy broad D-section hoop and expanding shoulders, discoid bezel with flange rim, facing bust of Helios modelled in the half-round with applied graduated conical rays.

PROVENANCE:
From an old German collection; formed 1990-2000. Supplied with a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate.

PUBLISHED:
Accompanied by an Art Loss Register certificate.
