Elamite Steatite Vessel

3rd millennium BC

A carved steatite vessel with crescentic body, circular piercing to the base, conjoined squared engraved to the upper rim, sinuous V-shaped forms with scrolled bases engraved around the outer face. 101 grams, 68mm (2 3/4"). Fine condition.
