Class 1c. Obv: facing bust with +EDWARDVS:REX legend. Rev: long cross and pellets dividing LON DON IEN SIS legend for London mint. 0.38 grams. Very fine. [No Reserve]

The PAS record states that this is a coin of Spink/North class 4de, however coins of that type have the CIVI TAS LON DON legend; this coin, from the trifoliate (left side) crown without jewels and LON DON IEN SIS reverse clearly belongs to Spink/North class 1c; Withers has re-classified these coins and gives this as his Type 2a(i) with normal Ns.
