Bronze Age Decorated Socketted Spearhead

10th-7th century BC

A bronze spearhead with leaf-shaped blade; raised midrib; tapering conical socket decorated with circumferential bands, scallops and chevrons, pierced laterally for attachment. 84 grams, 12.5cm (5"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]

Provenance
From a Belgium collection; formerly in a German collection; found in north-east Germany in 1930s.
