STONE AGE DANISH KNAPPED SICKLE KNIFE
NEOLITHIC PERIOD, 5TH-2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
6 1/4 in. (51.9 grams, 16 cm).

A knapped bifacial sickle knife in a grey translucent flint with curved back and ribbed cutting edge; old collector's identification sticker to one face with handwritten 'ILe Seeland Danemark' note and typed '33'.

PROVENANCE:
Found Isle of Seeland, Denmark.
With Laurent FABRE. 31 May 2022, lot 242.
Ex French collection, with old French collection sticker.
