Western Asiatic Cuneiform Tablet Letter to Iriš-Addad

Ca.16th-15th century BC

A Middle Babylonian or Middle Assyrian letter written in Akkadian comprising; a pillow-shaped ceramic tablet with dense cuneiform script to both faces and four edges, a letter written to a person named Iriš-Addad, concerning a runaway 'henchman' and also mentions 'a Babylonian', which may also be that persons name. 137 grams, 75mm (3"). Very fine condition.
