Greek Core-Formed Glass Oinochoe

Mid 4th-early 3rd century BC

A core-formed glass aryballos with small foot, pinched triangular flange rim, strap handle; yellow and blue trailing; mounted on a custom-made stand. 196 grams total, 13.4cm including stand (5 1/4"). Fine condition.

Provenance
Property of a London gentleman; formerly in the The Cyrus Collection, 1970s; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no. 10787-177845.
