Anglo-Saxon Chip-Carved Belt Buckle Section

6th century AD

A bronze buckle fragment with gilding to the face, panel of chip-carved Style I ornament and couch for the tongue, part of the spindle; old collector's mark to the reverse 'Norfolk'. 2.24 grams, 23mm (1"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]
