ROMAN ANTONINUS PIUS - ROME - DENARII [2]

161 AD. Struck by Marcus Aurelius. Obv: DIVVS ANTONINVS legend, bare head right, draped left shoulder and back. Rev: CONSECRATIO legend, pyre of four tiers, decorated with hangings and garlands, surmounted by quadriga. 139 AD. Obv: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP legend, laureate head right. Rev: TR POT COS II legend, Libertas standing left, holding pileus and rod. Silver, 3.45, 2.74 grams.

Near extremely fine.
