Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Hadrian - Africa Gold Aureus 136 AD

Rome mint. Obv: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P legend with bare head left, slight drapery on right shoulder. Rev: AFRICA legend with Africa, wearing elephant-skin headdress, reclining left, right hand resting on a lion, left hand on a basket with corn-ears. 7.14 grams.

Near extremely fine; small mark to rim (possibly once a pendant loop affixed?). Very rare.
